Background
Our partner company, NEXCO-West USA, Inc undertook the inspection work. They inspected tunnel wall with using TM-270 under cooperation of Hozen Maintenance & Management Engineering Co.,Ltd.
Result
Combined with infrared camera and line sensor camera, they mainly detected water infiltration based on infrared and visual images. Compared to conventionl visual inspection on site, the work efficiency was improved by scanning the tunnel liners at 15 - 20 km/h.
The technology has been highly evaluated by the client.
