If defective products are shipped out, it is not unusual that a manufacturer has to go to a client company for visual total re-inspection. When it comes to multiple face-attached package PCBs, it is likely to mistake a chip for the one in question because a lot of same chips are attached. Defect markings failures can also occur. Therefore, inspections took a long time and the accuracy was not high.
After
Installation of BBMaster and BMV enables the defect prevention as well as the workforce reduction of microscope visual inspectors. Specifically, the size of workforce was reduced from 28 to four, and personnel expenses became one seventh.
Enhancement of the traceability function allows a high-speed, high-accuracy inspection process, from reading 2D barcodes for each sheet and aggregating the data to recording and tracking the inspection history.
